Today's FP & A solutions have a well thought-out workflow management, with conditional alarms and mail notifications, cell locking and a user based authorization concept, which allows all planning steps and approval cycles to be quickly defined and the process be easily adapted to the company's requirements.

These are usually on-premise solutions or are available in the cloud, user-friendly and should be able to adapt flexibly to the needs of your company.

Many FP & A vendors are trying to get away from the programming and have developed the simple usability with building desired analyses or reports via drag and drop.

There are some good FP & A solutions on the market, depending on company size and requirements.
